Das Holz der Akazie und des Meertraubenbaum ist zudem nachhaltiger im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Holzarten, denn beide Bäume sind schnell und einfach zu kultivieren. Sowohl Akazie als auch die Meertraube stellen ein sehr robustes Material für ein Schneidebrett dar.
